 LETTER #1:

To the American Public:

In light of the wars and violent turbulence that currently engulf the Middle East and parts of Africa, a coalition of concerned citizens, journalists, and activists are launching a campaign to expose a most infamous and pernicious sponsor of Islamic terror: the Gulf state of Qatar.

Qatar, (pronounced “cutter,” or "gutter"), is, per capita, the richest country in the world ($93,352 in 2013).  This is partly due to the fact that they control the third largest natural gas reserves in the world, the North Dome field in the Persian Gulf.  It is also because Qatar has a mere 278,000 citizens, with a total population of 2.05 million; the remaining people in Qatar are a mix of well-paid ex-pats from countries such as the United States and Great Britain, and a substantial slave labor population.

A backer of international terror from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria and Iraq, the Qatari ruling family, the al-Thanis, exploit Islamic jihadi groups and their ties to illicit smuggling.

What is being smuggled?  Mostly narcotics and people - slaves.

Unfortunately, the United States is integrated into the Qatari "economy" as much as any other developed nation.  Doha, Qatar’s capital, is home to two of the largest American military bases in the entire world, as well as familiar companies like ExxonMobil, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin.  Doha also hosts a number of campuses for prestigious American universities, such as Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, and Cornell.  Other companies and organizations, ranging from the film production company Miramax to financial behemoths like Bank of America, have accepted significant amounts of investment by the al-Thanis.

Hamas, a Qatari client, launched a war against Israel this summer.  There is an ongoing genocide across Iraq and Syria, with mass graves and grisly beheadings of Christians and Shiite Muslims.  Boko Haram continues to rampage across Nigeria, threatening the political stability of Africa's largest economy and population.  Qatari fingerprints are on each of crises.

Over the course of the next month, companies, organizations, and individuals with significant investments and activities with and in Qatar will be identified and contacted with the reality of their host country.  These letters, once published, will be sent to press outlets around the world.

We call on the parties identified in this campaign to review the evidence, which is all credibly sourced and vetted.  In light of the terror, slavery, genocide, and narcotics trafficking, we urge the parties to demand that Qatar immediately cease any and all involvement in these activities.

Sincerely,

LETTER #2:
Ms. Malika Bilal and Ms. Femi Oke
Al Jazeera English
PO Box 23127
Doha – Qatar

Dear Ms. Bilal and Ms. Femi Oke:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country which owns Al Jazeera, the network on which you are co-hosts of the program, The Stream.
We urge to you read the information below, which includes evidence that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today. It is a benefactor of the genocidal armies of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Boko Haram; it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell; and profits from operating a virtual slave state. Qatar is involved in terror operations from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria to Iraq.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you both, who are American (Ms. Bilal) and British (Ms. Oke) citizens and co-hosts of an Al Jazeera daily program, here is pertinent background on the Doha-based network.
  • In 1996, then Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, provided a $137 million loan to start Al Jazeera. Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was the ruling monarch of Qatar from 1995-2013.
  • Al Jazeera is based out of Doha, the capital of Qatar.
  • In July 2013, 22 employees of Al Jazeera resigned after the station “air[ed] lies and misle[d] viewers” (according to Al Jazeera correspondent) regarding the Egyptian revolution on July 4, which ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi.
  • Al Jazeera is home to the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader (and Morsi-backer) Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who reaches an estimated 80 million viewers each week.

In light of Al Jazeera’s consistent and vocal support for the Muslim Brotherhood and their associated terror campaigns, we ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatari government to cease any type of involvement in all forms of Islamic terrorism, slavery, and drug trafficking!
Sincerely,

 LETTER #3:

CNN Corporate Office Headquarters
1 CNN Center
Atlanta, GA 30348 USA

Dear Mr. Zucker:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of the state of Qatar. CNN regularly solicits the opinion of policy experts and fellows from Brookings Doha, which receives millions of dollars in funding from Qatar. CNN.com also featured a prominent ad for the Qatar Foundation.
Qatar is involved in terror operations from Nigeria to Gaza to India to Syria to Iraq.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you, the president of CNN, here are some facts pertaining to CNN’s involvement with Qatar.
  • Following the overthrow of the pro-Muslim Brotherhood government of Mohamed Morsi, who simultaneously backed and supported Qatar, the CNN Global Public Square blog featured an interview with Gregory Gause III, professor of political science at the University of Vermont and non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Doha Center. Prof. Gause expressed disapproval of the ouster of the government of Morsi, a close ally of Qatar.
  • In August 2014, during the Israel-Gaza war, the CNN Global Public Square blog featured an op-ed by Sultan Barakat, Director of Research at Brookings Doha. Barakat was especially critical of Israel, which he accused of “disregard for basic civilian infrastructure” in Gaza, and stated that Israel “clearly prefers an underdeveloped ghetto to a viable foreign country [in Gaza].”
  • CNN.com featured a special advertising page for the Qatar Foundation. This ad linked to “a 30-minute monthly feature program … that seeks to capture the dynamism and broad range of cultural diversity in … the Middle East.” The Qatar Foundation, with the Emir of Qatar, established the Al-Qaradawi Research Center. Yusuf al-Qaradawi is the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood and a vocal supporter of violent jihad.

In light of Qatar’s consistent and vocal support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, we ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

Messieurs Michael Shure and Antonio Mora
Al Jazeera America
311 W 34th St
New York, NY 10001

Dear Mr. Michael Shure and Mr. Antonia Mora:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country which owns Al Jazeera, the network which employs you both as journalists. Additionally, both of you are graduates of Harvard University: Mr. Shure of Harvard College and Mr. Mora of Harvard Law School. Harvard is in a multi-year partnership with the Qatar Foundation to host an annual workshop.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you both, who are American citizens and correspondents for Al Jazeera, here is pertinent background on the Doha-based network.
  • In 1996, then Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, provided a $137 million loan to start Al Jazeera. Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was the ruling monarch of Qatar from 1995-2013.

LETTER #5:

Dear Mr. Albert Gore:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country which owns Al Jazeera America, the network which was established following your sale of CurrentTV to Al Jazeera for $500 million in 2013.
As cited below, in fact, you and your business partner, Mr. Joel Hyatt, engaged in two major transactions with Qatar: first the purchase of Newsworld International in 2004, from which you launched CurrentTV; secondly, the selling back of the station to Qatar to broadcast Al Jazeera America, for the price of $500 million.
Here is pertinent background on your involvement with the Doha-based network, and their ties to Islamists who promote mass murder of religious and ethnic minorities over the airwaves.
  • In 1996, then Emir of Qatar, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, provided a $137 million loan to start Al Jazeera. Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was the ruling monarch of Qatar from 1995-2013.
  • Al Jazeera is home to the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who reaches an estimated 80 million viewers each week. Qaradawi has ordered the killing of Jews, and Shiite Muslims in Syria.
  • In 2004, you and your partner Joel Hyatt (who is a Trustee of the Qatar-financed Brookings Institute) purchased Newsworld International from Vivendi Universal Entertainment to establish CurrentTV. Vivendi was (and is) partially owned by Qatar Holding.
  • In 2013, CurrentTV was sold to Al Jazeera for a reported $500 million. Owning 20% of the company, you reportedly profited personally $100 million from the sale.
  • In September 2014, you and Hyatt sued Al Jazeera for funds that remained in escrow. Al Jazeera has now filed a countersuit.

Your lawsuits notwithstanding, in light of Al Jazeera’s consistent and vocal support for the Muslim Brotherhood and various jihadi groups, we ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

LETTER #6:

President John J. DeGioia Office of the President
204 Healy Hall
37th & "O" Streets, NW
Washington, DC 20057-1789
Dear Dr. DeGioia:
This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country whose capital hosts a campus of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Since 2005, the Qatar Foundation has borne all campus development costs associated with the School in Qatar. (Also see here.)
The question to keep in mind when reading this letter is: Would Roosevelt have trained his diplomatic corps in Berlin in 1940?
With an academic staff of sixty professors, the School educates students in international relations, diplomacy, history, and government. As the School of Foreign Service states on its website: “The University’s on-going academic discussions with policymakers, independent actors and decision makers, positioned in Washington, D.C and in Doha, Qatar as the center of east-west relations has ensured the relevancy and vibrancy of Georgetown’s programs of study for the coming century.” Given the influence of Georgetown academics and graduates in this nation’s capital, it is imperative to question whether accepting money from the Qatar, a haven for the Muslim Brotherhood, is in America’s best interests.
Qatar has leveraged its relationships with violent jihadi groups to its own benefit, and to the detriment of the United States and her allies.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you:
  • In 2001, the Qatar Foundation funded an initiative in Doha, the Education City. It welcomed six American universities, Georgetown among them (in 2005), to build campuses in the complex. The Qatar Foundation, which has noted links to terrorism, pays all associated campus development costs.
  • In 2009, Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the sixth son of the then-Emir of Qatar, graduated with the School’s first class. He later obtained a Masters from Harvard, which also partners with the Qatar Foundation.
  • The Georgetown School of Foreign Service offers a scholarship program from Qatar University, an institution which includes the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies. Sharia law is the basis for both Taliban and ISIS rule.

The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

LETTER #7:

President Mark A. Hussey
Office of the President
1246 TAMU
Texas A&M University
College Station, TX 77843-1246

Dear Dr. Hussey:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country whose capital hosts a campus of Texas A&M University. Since 2003, when Robert Gates (later Secretary of Defense) was president of the university, the Qatar Foundation has borne all campus development costs associated with the campus. (Also see here.)
Texas A&M University at Qatar plays an important part in the Qatari economy, educating students in disciplines including: chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering, and petroleum engineering. Qatar possessing the world’s third largest natural gas reserves, and significant reserves of oil, engineering is particularly important to their economy.
The president of Texas A&M in 2003, when the Doha campus was established, was Robert Gates, who served until December 2006. Gates resigned from his role as president of the university to accept the nomination for Secretary of Defense by President George W. Bush, and went on to serve in the same role under President Barack Obama until July 2011, at perhaps the peak of the Arab Spring.
Qatar has leveraged its relationships with violent jihadi groups to its own benefit, and to the detriment of the United States and her allies.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you:
  • In May 2009, Texas A&M University at Qatar awarded the Medal for Leadership to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. Sheikh Tamim is the current Emir of Qatar, reigning through the same period of time which saw Qatar-backed Hamas attack Israel, and the rise of Qatar-backed ISIS.
  • In May, 2014, the university received $31.7 million in research awards from the Qatar National Research Fund.
  • In 2001, the Qatar Foundation funded an initiative in Doha, the Education City. It welcomed six American universities, Texas A&M among them (in 2003), to build campuses in the complex. The Qatar Foundation, which has noted links to terrorism, pays all associated campus development costs.
  • The University benefits Qatar financially; according to the University’s website, “Research activities that address issues important to the State of Qatar are valued at over $159 million.” It also states that the University is “a valued resource of the State of Qatar.”
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

LETTER #8:

Elizabeth Garrett
Office of the President
300 Day Hall
Cornell University
Ithaca, NY 14853

Dear Ms. Garret:

Congratulations on your recent appointment to President of Cornell University! We hope you take this opportunity to examine Weill Cornell Medical College’s extensive relationship with a state sponsor of terrorism.
This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country whose capital hosts a campus of Weill Cornell Medical College. Since 2001, the Qatar Foundation has borne all campus development costs associated with the campus in Doha’s Education City.
Cornell University, an Ivy League institution, is one of the most respected institutions of higher learning in the nation, and indeed the world. Weill Cornell Medical College, which became affiliated with Cornell in 1998, is one of the most prestigious and selective medical schools.
Following the Hamas attack on Israel this summer, Cornell’s presence in Doha, Qatar came under scrutiny by Jewish organizations. Qatar is an open supporter of the Gaza-based terrorist group, which fired thousands of rockets at Israel in July and August, killing and wounding dozens of innocent Israelis. Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center called Cornell’s presence in Qatar “outrageous,” while the Zionist Organization of America called on Cornell and other American universities to “end or suspend their programs in Qatar.”
In light of these events, we urge to you read the information below, which includes evidence that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today. It is a benefactor of the genocidal armies of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Boko Haram; it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell; and profits from operating a virtual slave state. Qatar has leveraged its relationships with violent jihadi groups to its own benefit, and to the detriment of the United States and her allies.
So the public understands why this letter is addressed to you, Cornell’s past and current activity suggest a growing partnership between Cornell and the terror-sponsoring Gulf state:
  • In 2001, the Qatar Foundation funded an initiative in Doha, the Education City. It welcomed six American universities, Weill Cornell, among them (in 2001), to build campuses in the complex. The Qatar Foundation, which has noted links to terrorism, pays all associated campus development costs.
  • In 2004, Bill Clinton and Al Gore both visited Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. In 2013, Qatar donated between $1-$5 mil to the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation; also in 2013, Al Gore sold CurrentTV to (Doha-based) Al Jazeera, profiting personally a reported $100 million.
  • Despite recent criticism, Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar announced in September their intentions to expand their presence, partnering with the Qatari medical company Aspetar for clinical trials and education.
  • Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Jassim Al-Thani, MBBChB, the Director of Public Health for the Supreme Council of Health in Doha, Qatar, is on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College in New York (since 2011).
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

LETTER #9:

Carnegie Mellon University
Office of the President, Dr. Subra Suresh
5000 Forbes Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15213
412-268-2000
Dear Dr. Suresh:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country whose capital hosts a campus of Carnegie Mellon University. Since 2001, the Qatar Foundation has borne all campus development costs associated with the campus in Doha’s Education City. (Also see here.)
Since 2004, Carnegie Mellon has operated Carnegie Mellon in Qatar, as part of Qatar’s Education City. The educational focus of this campus is in the sciences, including biology, business administration, and computer and information systems. Regarding Carnegie Mellon’s computer science programs, the University has a long-standing relationship with the U.S. Department of Defense. The Software Engineering Institute is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center, sponsored by the Department of Defense.
We live in an age permeated by fears of devastating cyberterrorism, including to our power grid. Carnegie Mellon’s computer science programs being a critical part of the cyber defense of the United States, it is noteworthy that according to the U.S. Department of State, Qatar has the worst counterterrorism record in the Middle East – worse than even Iran. Equally as distressing, Doha is home to two of the largest U.S. military bases in the region, one which serves as CENTCOM for the Middle East.
In light of these clear and present security risks, we urge to you read the information below, which includes evidence that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today.
So the public has a fuller context of Carnegie Mellon’s role in cyber security, and their footprint in Doha, here are some pertinent facts:
  • This September, Carnegie Mellon received a $5.6 million NSF grant for Cybersecurity Education. The award “aims to strengthen the workforce charged with protecting the nation's critical information infrastructure.
  • In 2001, the Qatar Foundation funded an initiative in Doha, the Education City. It welcomed six American universities, Carnegie Mellon, among them (in 2001), to build campuses in the complex. The Qatar Foundation, which has noted links to terrorism, pays all associated campus development costs.
  • The September, 2014 Carnegie Mellon class will be the 11th in Qatar, with an enrollment of 427 students.
  • In April, the Department of Defense awarded Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh a five-year, $7.5 mil research grant that seeks explore the foundations of mathematics.
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities.

Drew Giplin Faust
Office of the President
Harvard University
Massachusetts Hall
Cambridge, MA 02138 USA
Dear Dr. Faust:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Harvard University is assisting the Qatar Foundation to establish a law school in Doha, in order to “revitalize legal education in the Middle East, and represent Islamic and Arabic legal traditions in the global dialogue on legal and governance issues.” These traditions include Sharia law.
Harvard University is arguably the greatest institution of higher learning in the world today. The university’s endowment fund, which invests in hedge funds and private equity funds, is valued at $36.4 billion (June 2014). An institution with global influence of the first order, Harvard scholars help to shape policy on the domestic and international stage.
President Barack Obama himself is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and served as the president of the Harvard Law Review. His alma mater is now partnered with Doha to found a law school focused, at least in part, on Sharia law.
Although it is not surprising that Harvard would be found in Qatar, its activities there are distinctly alarming. Why would Harvard want to help establish an Islamic law school in Qatar, a state sponsor of terrorist groups like Hamas? “Islamic and Arabic legal traditions” includes Sharia law, which has been the basis for the barbaric and inhuman rule of the Taliban and ISIS, both to whom Doha is financially entwined.
In light of your partnership with the Qatar Foundation to establish a law school, consider that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today.
Here are additional facts around Harvard’s various interactions with Qatar and the al-Thani family:
  • The Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School is in a multi-year partnership with the Qatar Foundation. 2015 will mark the sixth annual IGLP Workshop; in 2013, the workshop welcomed 140 participants to Doha.
  • IGLP and Harvard Law School are also assisting the Qatar Foundation to establish a law school in Doha, which has as a goal the increased globalization of Sharia law.
  • The John F. Kennedy School of Government operates a fellowship fund, established out of a $2 million gift from the Al-Thani family.
  • In 2010, the Harvard Arab Alumni Association hosted the Fifth Annual Arab World Conference in Doha. The conference is one of “the most significant efforts to bring Harvard to the Arab world.” The conference thanked “her highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned, Consort of his highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, for graciously offering her patronage to our conference; it is indeed an honor and a privilege.”
  • Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad al-Thani, a brother of the Emir of Qatar, completed a Masters degree at Harvard University. He previously attended the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in Doha.

LETTER #11:

Strobe Talbott
The Brookings Institution
1775 Massachusetts Ave., NW
Washington, DC 20036

Dear Mr. Strobe Talbott:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar, the country who is the single biggest foreign donor to the Brookings Institution. The New York Times penned an article in September that outlines the influence of foreign governments through the stealth funding of think tanks in the United States. The Brookings Institution was singled out as one entity receiving such funding.
Since 2008, Brookings Doha Center has operated in Qatar. The Brookings Doha Center International Advisory Council is co-chaired by H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al-Thani, former prime minister and minister of foreign affairs of the State of Qatar and yourself. The Center maintains a reputation for policy impact and cutting-edge, field-oriented research on socioeconomic and geopolitical issues facing the broader Middle East, including relations with the United States. Brookings has ties directly to the White House, has connections within our military and influences a wide range of power brokers within the United States.
With Qatar's long financial reach and deep pockets, their connections to and financing of terror groups such as Hamas are great areas of concern. Former US envoy Martin Indyk, John Kerry’s Middle East peace envoy, in his capacity as Vice President and Director of the Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution, was involved in recent negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, a definite conflict of interest since Qatar is widely known to fund terror in the West Bank - specifically, Hamas. It is noteworthy that according to the US Department of State, Qatar has the worst counterterrorism record in the Middle East – worse than even Iran.
In light of these clear and present security risks, we urge you to read the information below, which includes evidence that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today.
So the public has a fuller context of the Brookings Institution’s role in impacting US policies and research on socioeconomic and geopolitical issues facing the broader Middle East, and their footprint in Doha, here are some pertinent facts:
  • One year after 9/11, the US decided to form a closer relationship with Qatar and form outreach programs. The Brookings Institution – a preeminent think tank based in Washington, DC – founded the US-Islamic World Forum (US-IWF) with the nation of Qatar.
  • The Brookings Institution is a major recipient of overseas funds, producing policy papers, hosting forums and organizing private briefings for senior United States government officials that typically align with the foreign governments’ agendas.
  • In 2014, Qatar has pledged a $14.8 million, four-year donation to Brookings and it will help finance Brookings Doha Center in Qatar and its project on US relations with the Islamic world.
  • An anonymous donor at Brookings, with ties to the Turkish government, made a strong statement to a scholar there who made critical statements about Qatar by suspending their support and their money.
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatari government to cease any type of involvement in all forms of Islamic terrorism, slavery and drug trafficking!

LETTER #12:
Adelita S. Grijalva
Tucson Unified School District
1010 E. Tenth St.
Tucson, AZ 85719

Dear Ms. Grijalva:
This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. The Tucson Unified School District has accepted grant money from the Qatar Foundation to fund an Arabic language program. Qatar is a state-sponsor of terrorism, including Hamas, who routinely use civilians, including children, as human shields.
Qatar is the host country of the Muslim Brotherhood, a stateless political organization which came to maturity at the same time as the Nazi Party in Germany. Indeed, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Third Reich shared many of the same aims in World War II, including the extermination of Jews. Their collaboration is well-documented.
A socially-minded subversive organization, one particular focus of the Muslim Brotherhood has always been education. In fact, the most prolific Brotherhood author and “philosopher” was the racist Sayyid Qutb, an inspector for the Egyptian Ministry of Education. Likewise, Qatar as their host country, funds various educational initiatives around the globe, primarily through the Qatar Foundation.
Although Hamas’s disregard for civilian and children lives is notable, it is eclipsed by the wholesale violence committed by the Qatari-financed Islamic State (aka ISIS). Mass executions of innocents shock the conscience, and the Islamic State enthusiastically cleanses its conquered territory of all who oppose it: Christians, Yazidis, and more secularly minded Muslims included. The Islamic State even beheads young children, and teaches other children how to behead.
Here are additional facts regarding Qatar’s inroads to public education in the United States:
  • The Qatar Foundation International operates an Arabic Language and Culture program in partnership with public schools systems. This includes, as of September 2013, the New York City Department of Education.
  • In May 2014, the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district in Texas sent ten high school students to Qatar to learn Arabic through a grant by Qatar Foundation International. A few months later, Qatar-backed Hamas began a rocket offensive aimed at Israeli citizens.
  • The Al Harma Academy in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts is partnered with the Qatar Foundation International to offer full-immersion courses in Arabic. Al Hamra was accredited by the New England Association of School and Colleges 2007.
  • The Qatar Foundation’s WISE Initiative focuses on bringing Qatari ideals to education around the world. In this endeavor, they have a partner in the United Nations.
In light of your partnership with the Qatar Foundation consider that Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today. It is a benefactor of the genocidal armies of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Boko Haram; it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell; and profits from operating a virtual slave state. W. James McNerney
Boeing Corporate Offices
100 North Riverside
Chicago, Illinois 60606
Dear Mr. McNerney:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Why? According to a senior Boeing executive last October, “The relationship [between Qatar and Boeing] is very strong; it’s kind of like a marriage.
Yet Qatar is perhaps the preeminent sponsor of terrorism in the world today, and a sponsor of ISIS genocide!
Few companies in the country hold the same esteem in the public eye as The Boeing Company. A manufacturer of commercial airplanes, and an indispensable military contractor, Boeing has helped build modern America. It simply boggles the mind that Boeing has contracts with terrorist-friendly Qatar for state-of-the-art commercial and military systems that total tens of billions of dollars.
In July this year, Boeing announced an $18.9 billion dollar deal with Qatar Airways for 50 777-9Xs wide-body jets. Qatar Airways also agreed to rights to purchase an additional 50, as well as four 777 Freighters, bringing the potential value of the deal to $39.8 billion. Finally, Qatar is also set to deploy Boeing’s latest flagship 787 Dreamliner plane.
One may ask, why does a country with only 278,000 citizens, and a total population of two million people, need so many airplanes? Doha is also a significant regional narcotics hub. Indeed, Qatar is strategically partnered with a smuggler of Taliban heroin, the Pakistani National Logistics Cell. Additionally, Qatar Airways’ flights have been found to carrying narcotics into Doha from South America.
Still, commercial contracts are but one side of the coin. In March, Boeing agreed to supply Qatar with 24 Apache attack helicopters and three Boeing 737 Airborne early warning and control aircraft. These sophisticated weapons systems are being sent to the same country which created the genocidal ISIS.
Below are some supporting facts that should give Boeing a reason to file for “divorce” from their Qatari spouse:
  • In September 2011, in the course of 15 days, six drug mules were arrested in Ezeiza, Argentina carrying liquid cocaine. According to one official, “Ezeiza-Qatar is a new and rare route for drug trafficking. It exploded strong. On average, during the turn, there was one case every two days.”
  • In March 2013, suspects again were arrested in Argentina carrying narcotics. They were set to board a Qatar Airways flights to Doha.
  • In September 2013, there were six cases of Mexican smugglers arrested in Doha’s airport, attempting to smuggle drugs on Qatar Airlines from Buenos Aires. Apparently the “new route” has “exploded.”
  • Qatar is evidently using Boeing C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft to supply Islamists in Libya, where Egypt and the UAE are attempting to keep the country from allying itself fully with the Islamic State.
  • You, Mr. McNerney, are on a Trustee for Northwestern University. Northwestern has a campus in Doha whose development costs have been fully covered by the Qatar Foundation.
Qatar is a benefactor of the genocidal armies of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Boko Haram; it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell; and profits from operating a virtual slave state. Qatar has leveraged its relationships with violent jihadi groups to its own benefit, and to the detriment of the United States and her allies.

LETTER #14:

Marillyn A. HewsonLockheed Martin
6801 Rockledge Drive
Bethesda, MD 20817-1877
Dear Ms. Hewson:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Lockheed Martin, a major American military contractor, has been one of the largest suppliers of sophisticated weapons systems to the terrorist-sponsor State of Qatar for several years.
For the better part of 2014, one of Qatar’s creations – the genocidal Islamic State (aka ISIS/ISIL) - has been on the warpath in Syria and Iraq. The media reports are gruesome and horrifying: beheaded children, entire villages massacred, ancient Christian and Yazidi communities exterminated, and surrendered soldiers murdered in ways reminiscent of the Nazi Einsatzgruppen. This is a genocide, and it is going on right now!
Is Lockheed Martin comfortable supplying this with state modern American weaponry?
Qatar is not only responsible for financing ISIS, but multiple infamous terrorist groups. Indeed, the Qatari modus operandi has been to sow the seeds of various supremacist Islamist groups in the Middle East and North Africa, and use them to extract profit through the smuggling of human beings (i.e. slaves), and narcotics.
Boko Haram was established by a proxy of Qatar, who now resides in Doha, as a money-making venture. This is the same Nigerian Islamist group which earlier this year kidnapped several hundred young Nigerian girls and sold them into sex slavery.
When Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israel this summer, killing and wounding dozens of innocent Israelis, it was Qatar they looked to as their partner in terror. These actions actually spawned a war, which continues to disrupt regional stability.
Since 2012, Lockheed Martin has been involved with multiple multi-billion dollar deals with this pernicious and violent sponsor of Islamic supremacism:
  • In July 2014, Lockheed Martin (and other companies) was part of an $11 billion arms deal to Qatar for Patriot air defense missiles.
  • In March 2014, Lockheed Martin (and other companies) was part of a $24 billion arms deal to Qatar for Patriot configuration-3 surface to air missiles.
  • In November 2012, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress of the sale of $6.5 billion of Lockheed Martin air-defense interceptors, radar, parts, and support to Qatar.

Additionally, Qatar it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell, and profits from operating a virtual slave state. The only country with an “embassy” for the Taliban, Qatar has leveraged its relationships with violent jihadi groups to its own benefit, and to the detriment of the United States and her allies.

LETTER #15:

Thomas A. Kennedy
Raytheon Company
870 Winter Street
Waltham, MA 02451-1449
Dear Dr. Kennedy:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Raytheon, a major American military contractor and leading manufacturer of guided missiles, is set to be a substantial provider of sophisticated weapons systems to the terrorist-sponsor State of Qatar for many years; and has just reaffirmed their commitment to supply Qatar with surface-to-air missiles.
Qatar, however, is no mere sponsor of random terror. Not only was Doha home to 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Indeed, Qatar is the principal country that supported the so-called "Arab Spring" uprisings, which saw the demise of Mubarak, Gaddafi, and nearly - possibly still - Bashar al-Assad. The relevant point to consider regarding these revolutions is, cui bono?
It is a testament to Qatar's dedication to Islamic supremacy, and concomitant mass-murder of the “infidel,” that in Egypt and Libya, the Qatari-hosted Muslim Brotherhood and their affiliated political parties came to dominate the countries’ governments. In Syria, the Qatari-backed rebels, including the al-Nusra Front and even ISIS - are poised to assume control should the Assad regime fall.
As a direct result of these Qatari-backed uprisings, the Middle East and North Africa are quite literally in political and social chaos - anarchy. Libya and Syria have become havens for transnational criminal syndicates, who traffic men, women, children, and narcotics for profit. There is an ongoing genocide against any population who dares oppose the diabolical rule of the Islamic State, on a scale unseen in the Middle East since the genocide of the Armenians during World War I.
In light of these events and the Qatari coordination behind the scenes, it is distressing that Raytheon:
  • Just this month, announced that they would be proceeding with a $2 billion sale of sophisticated weaponry to Doha. Specifically, it is for $2 billion worth of Patriot Missiles Defense Systems.
  • Hosted students from Qatar University to “to give them up-front, hands-on demonstrations of technologies that have made Raytheon a powerhouse of innovation.”
Why provide America’s mortal enemies with the capacity to defend themselves? Qatar can reasonably be blamed for turning the Middle East into a vast lawless region, where not even strongmen can check the indiscriminate killing, smuggling, and slaving. Qatar has created exactly the kind of environment that existed in Afghanistan prior to 9/11, across three continents!

LETTER #16:

Rex W. Tillerson
ExxonMobil
Corporate Headquarters
5959 Las Colinas Boulevard
Irving, Texas 75039-2298
Dear Mr. Tillerson:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Of all the American companies currently involved with Qatar, none is more responsible for Qatar’s economic success than ExxonMobil. Indeed, Qatar has the world’s highest per capita GDP, at $102,100 (2013).
The United States has two massive military bases in Qatar: Al Udeid, the home of CENTCOM for the region, and As Sayliyah, the largest pre-positioning base outside the continental United States. One primary reason that these bases exist in Qatar is because they are subsidized (or, as the Washington Post put it, owned) by the Qatari government. These Qatar-owned bases are what protect Qatar from their neighbors, many whom have been thrown into Qatari-induced chaos following the Muslim Brotherhood’s Arab Spring.
In addition to these bases, the Muslim Brotherhood broadcaster, Al Jazeera, has huge annual budget, partially subsidized by the Qatari state - $650 million in 2010!
Where has Qatar gained the wealth required to develop modern military bases and a worldwide multimedia network with an oversized budget? More than 50% of Qatar’s GDP comes from natural gas and oil extraction. Proven reserves of the North Field are estimated at 900 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.  In order to exploit this resource, the technology and capital equipment poor Qataris needed a partner in a multinational energy company. Hence, ExxonMobil’s presence in Qatar since the early 1990s.
It is only natural for a small, energy rich nation to partner with a foreign extraction company, who can offer capital and development. And this is what Qatar has done with ExxonMobil, to the point where the country and company are intertwined to an astounding degree:
  • ExxonMobil is involved with no less than nine joint ventures with Qatar, with ownership varying between 10%-45%.
  • As of 2010, there were 550 ExxonMobil employees based out of Qatar, assisting local Qatari companies with whom they are partnered.
  • In May 2013, it was reported by Bloomberg that ExxonMobil announced that they would be partnering with Qatar Petroleum International to build a $10 billion natural gas export terminal in Texas.
  • ExxonMobil sponsored the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2014, an annual tennis tournament held in Doha.  This marked the 20th straight year that ExxonMobil had sponsored the tournament, to which the company name has now been appended.
  • ExxonMobil is a corporate sponsor WISE, the global Qatari education initiative, which is active throughout public schools in the United States.

Additionally, Qatar it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell, and profits from operating a virtual slave state. A recent press report explained how a Qatari citizen was the moneyman for an Al Qaeda group in Syria. His alias? Umar al-Qatari.
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.

Letter #17:

Joseph ‘Sepp’ Blatter
Fédération Internationale de Football Association
FIFA-Strasse 20,
P.O. Box 8044 Zurich, Switzerland
Dear Mr. Blatter:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. FIFA is preparing to host the 2022 World Cup in Qatar’s capital city of Doha, and this decision has been anything but uncontroversial.
In September 2013, the UK’s The Guardian ran a feature story on Qatar’s “World Cup slaves.” These slaves, foreign workers who are flown in from countries such as Nepal, India, and Bangladesh, are deprived of basic human rights, including:
  • Access to clean water and food, and lack of decent and sanitary habitations.
  • The right to leave Qatar, as their passports are seized upon entry and they are denied exit visas.
  • Just and timely compensation, as many of these workers are routinely denied pay for months at a time.
And yet, one aspect of the Qatari-FIFA World Cup scandal has been overlooked. The architectural firm contracted to build the stadiums is Albert Speer & Partner. Mr. Speer is the son of Albert Speer, the infamous Nazi who revolutionized slave labor in the Third Reich for his friend and Führer, Adolf Hitler. Albert Speer was the chief organizer and executive of the Nazi war machine, in terms of munitions production. He enslaved conquered “racial minorities” across Europe, including Slavs and Jews, in war factories.
Is it not tragically ironic that his son is using slave labor to build FIFA’s soccer stadiums?
Furthermore, Qatar Airways is in a partnership F.C. Barcelona, one of the world’s most recognizable football clubs. Qatar and soccer have a complicated relationship. In April, it was reported that in 2011, a Qatari, Mr. Mohammed bin Hamman, had deposited £2 million into the bank account of the daughter of a Brazilian FIFA official. The money is believed to have been transferred into the 10 year old’s account by the then-president of F.C. Barcelona, Sandro Rosell. This amounted to a bribe, and Qatar was subsequently awarded the 2022 World Cup.
Here are some pertinent additional facts regarding FIFA, Qatar, terrorism, and the 2022 World Cup:
  • In 2011, Mohamed bin Hamman was banned from FIFA after the Ethics Committee ruled him responsible for cash gifts totaling, $1 million “to officials from associations belonging to the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) at a meeting in Trinidad on May 10.”
  • A previous head of the Qatar Football Association, Abdul Rahman al-Nuaimi, was accused of supporting terrorism through al Qaeda in Iraq, Somalia, Yemen and other countries. He was designated by the U.S. Treasury a “global terrorist.”
  • Prominent FIFA officials have openly questioned the decision to hold the World Cup 2022 in Doha. Citing scorching temperatures in Doha during the summer, FIFA Executive Committee member Theo Zwanziger stated, “I personally think that in the end the 2022 World Cup will not take place in Qatar. Medics say that they cannot accept responsibility with a World Cup taking place under these conditions.”

LETTER #18:

Josep M. Bartomeu i Floreta
FC Barcelona (Press Office)
Avenida Arístides Maillol, s/n
08028-Barcelona
Dear Mr. Bartomeu i Floreta:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. Qatar Airways is the sponsor of FC Barcelona. Not only has Qatar Airways been reported to be involved with significant narcotics trafficking, but the State of Qatar is a bona fide state sponsor of terror spanning at least three continents. They are in part responsible for the ISIS genocide that is targeting Middle Eastern Christian populations.
Of all the shirts in professional football, none is more recognizable than FC Barcelona’s “Qatar Airways” jersey. The red and blue striped advertisement for Qatar Airways, with its gold collar, is worn by men, women, and children the world around. Yet given Qatar’s proven financing of mass murder and terror, one wonders who would wear this shirt if they understood that it was Qatar who financed and trained the Islamic State?
As the atrocities and bodies of innocents stack up in Syria and Iraq, it is tantamount to wearing a swastika on emblazoned on one’s chest. This sponsorship and corruption is destroying soccer’s good name and brand, and is an embarrassment to fans around the world!
Moreover, in 2011, it is alleged that Mr. Mohammed bin Hamman, the former head of the Qatar Football Association, had deposited £2 million into the bank account of the daughter of a Brazilian FIFA official. The money is believed to have been transferred into the 10 year old’s account by the then-president of FC Barcelona, Sandro Rosell. This amounted to a bribe, and Qatar was subsequently awarded the 2022 World Cup.
Here are some pertinent additional facts regarding FC Barcelona, Qatar Airways, and terrorism:
  • The football club and Qatar Airways have been in partnership since July 2013. In February 2014, Qatar Airways announced it would fly a Boeing 777 “kitted out in FC Barcelona colors.”
  • In August 2013, it was announced that FC Barcelona would receive Eur30.5 million from Qatar Airways, as part of football’s “biggest shirt deal ever.”
  • Qatar Airways has been the central airline implicated in a narcotics smuggling route that has “exploded” from Argentina to Doha.
  • Across the Middle East, Christian minority communities have been targeted by ISIS for horrific, genocidal elimination. A German minister stated in August, “A story like this always has a history… Who is financing these troops [i.e. ISIS]? Hint: Qatar.”
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatari government to cease any type of involvement in all forms of Islamic terrorism, slavery, and drug trafficking!

LETTER #19:

Harvey and Bob Weinstein
c/o Miramax Films
375 Greenwich St.
New York, NY 10013
Dear Harvey and Bob Weinstein:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. The film company you founded, Miramax, is largely owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, the sovereign wealth fund operated by the Qatari state. Qatar has proven itself the primary sponsor of terror and genocide in the Middle East and North Africa.
In 2010, Disney sold Miramax to Filmyard Holdings, a joint investment group which included the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), private equity company Colony Capital, and construction company Tutor-Saliba Corporation. QIA was the largest shareholder. In January 2013, Ron Tutor of Tutor-Saliba sold his stake in Miramax to the Qatar Investment Authority, leaving Miramax in the hands of Colony Capital and Qatar exclusively.
Although you two had left Miramax for a time, in December 2013 Miramax announced a 20 year deal with The Weinstein Company for “a multi-year co-production and co-distribution deal covering movies, TV and stage for titles in the Miramax library.” This reunites the company with its founders; and unites the Weinstein brothers, Miramax, and Qatar – a prolific state sponsor of terrorism across North Africa and the Middle East - in one corporate entity.
So the public understands how conflicts of interests occur when terrorist financing comingles with Hollywood, here are some more facts concerning Miramax, Qatar, al Qaeda, and other revolutionary and murderous movements:
  • In 2010, the Weinstein Company, produced Miral, a movie about a Palestinian orphan. The film was criticized by many as pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel, and the journalist Daniel Greenfield called it a “terrorist propaganda flick.”
  • In 2004, Miramax released the Michael Moore film Fahrenheit 9/11, which pushed the specious idea that then-President George W. Bush was somehow involved with the September 11 attacks. It’s hard to imagine a better piece of terrorist propaganda and disinformation.
  • Miramax has a history of distributing films by the Spanish director Pedro Almodovar. Miramax distributed two of Almodovar’s movies in the early 1990s, Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!, and High Heels.
  • One of Almodovar’s actresses for a period of time was Maria Ayuso. This “chica Almodovar” later married Abu Dahbah, the Al Qaeda mastermind of the Madrid train bombings in 2004.
  • Abu Dahbah was also acquainted with Abu Musab al-Suri, a Syrian who once resided in Spain, and one of the most prolific authors of jihad for Al Qaeda.

Additionally, Qatar is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell, and profits from operating a virtual slave state. The Arab Spring, a Qatari and American-backed program to install Islamists across the Middle East and North Africa, has led to a veritable diplomatic “crisis” with Israel. John Kerry’s attempt to force Qatar’s (who back Hamas) hatched peace terms on Israel has caused the only democracy in the region to question America’s allegiance to their security.
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatari government and the Muslim Brotherhood to cease any type of involvement in all forms of Islamic terrorism, slavery, and drug trafficking!

LETTER #20:

Senator John McCain
241 Russell Senate Office Building
Washington DC 20510
Dear Senator McCain:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. In light of your unwavering support for the Arab Spring, it is important to weigh your concerns for "democracy" against empowering the nation’s enemies. The State of Qatar was a consistent advocate for the Arab Spring, precisely because they are the home of the terrorist organization, the Muslim Brotherhood.
Before even President Obama, reacting to events in Tahrir Square, called for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to step down, you, Senator McCain, did so. "Regrettably the time has come 4 Pres. Mubarak 2 step down & relinquish power. It's in the best interest of Egypt, its people & its military," you tweeted on February 2, 2011. Mubarak's resignation was the first significant step toward destabilizing the Middle East, which has led to anarchy across the entire region and the proliferation of jihadi militias.
The power vacuum left by Mubarak in Egypt was filled by the Muslim Brotherhood, a revolutionary, stateless organization currently based out of Qatar. In the coming months, there would be government sanctioned pogroms against the Coptic Christians, as well as other religious minorities, in Egypt: entire faith communities came under assault from Muslim Brotherhood gangs, and dozens of Churches were burned.
The Egyptian debacle was repeated in Libya, as NATO airstrikes deposed a then-U.S. friendly Muammar Gaddafi. Once again, you publicly called for deposing Gaddafi, and supporting the Qatari-backed rebels. Libya's Christians were treated as brutally as Egypt's, or worse, and today Libya is a failed state tantamount to Afghanistan under the Taliban. It is a haven for murderous and revolutionary Islamists, smugglers, and roving, lawless cartels. It poses a security threat to all of North Africa.
Even as Syria is under siege by the same ideological group of jihadis, who have proven beyond reproach to be genocidal psychopaths, you still call for ousting Assad. While no patriotic American wants to support a dictator, the real question to consider is: who will fill this vacuum? Recent experience forewarns that something far worse will replace Assad, and indeed they already control parts of Syria and Iraq - ISIS.
Each one of these experiments in capricious regime change has a common backer (besides you and President Obama) - the State of Qatar. Morsi was a Muslim Brother President of Egypt, fully backed by the Al-Thani monarchy in Doha. In Libya, Qatar had ground troops training al Qaeda “linked” rebels, and even deployed fighter jets. In Syria, PBS has reported that the American government has trained Syrian rebels in Qatar!
There are more relevant facts to consider when evaluating your positions over the last several years concerning Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood:
  • You came out in support of Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, whose family has been conclusively linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in Pakistan.
  • You were arguably the loudest Republican voice supporting the Arab Spring from the beginning. You called it a “collective demand for human dignity, economic opportunity and peaceful political change.” Yet, is has led to more indignities upon humanity than anything in recent memory.
  • After the Egyptian military removed the criminal Morsi regime, an action you determined to be a “coup,” you urged the punishing of Egypt by restricting military aid to the new government.
  • In Tunisia in April, 2013, you met with Prime Minister Ali Larayedh. Larayedh is a member of the Ennahda Movement, which is a Muslim Brotherhood-allied political party.

LETTER #22:

President Bill and Honorable Hillary ClintonClinton Foundation
1271 Avenue of the Americas
42nd Floor New York, NY 10020
Dear President Bill and Hillary Clinton:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. The State of Qatar, in 2013, donated between $1-5 million to the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Qatar is also the major financier behind Hamas as well as the genocidal Islamic State.
Qatar also happens to be home of the Muslim Brotherhood, the stateless political organization that seeks political revolution across the world as to implement Sharia law. Indeed, the Arab Spring is a project of the Muslim Brotherhood in order to reestablish a totalitarian Islamic caliphate. In 1994, the Clinton administration welcomed the Council on American Islamic Relations into White House policy making. CAIR, it should be noted, has been conclusively linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas (which is itself the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine, founded by the Nazi collaborator Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini).
Going back in history, it has been the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood (and now of Qatar, their host) to establish global Sharia law. One of the earlier academics who sought to reconcile Western law with Sharia law was Said Ramadan, the son-in-law of the organization’s founder, Hassan al-Banna. Ramadan traveled the world, corresponding with various law professors, including to Germany, where he obtained a doctorate in law.
Following the attacks of September 11, 2001 and increased security scrutiny on all Muslim Brotherhood-linked actors, Said Ramadan’s son Tariq, grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Banna, was denied a visa and barred from entering the United States. In July 2009, when you, Secretary Clinton, were Secretary of State, Tariq Ramadan’s travel ban was lifted with your signature.
The public is urged to consider these additional facts concerning the Muslim Brotherhood, Qatar, and the activities of the Clintons:
  • While Secretary of State, Clinton’s chief aide was Huma Abedin. Abedin’s family is from Pakistan, and they are known to be involved with the Pakistani branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and various other Islamist causes.
  • The U.S. Department of State under Clinton supported the Qatari-backed Islamist revolutions in Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia. These have resulted in ongoing chaos, anarchy, and destruction. In Syria, where the State Department backs the anti-Assad rebels, the resistance has metastasized into ISIS, which is definitively genocidal in its ambitions.
  • When you, President Clinton, were President, you accepted the billionaire Fethullah Gulen into the United States, giving him asylum from Turkey. Gulen had tried to overthrow the then-secular government of Turkey and turn it into an Islamist state. He now resides in Pennsylvania.
  • The Clinton Presidential Library received a donation of “at least $1 million” from the State of Qatar, according to the Washington Post.

LETTER #23

Michael Bloomberg
Bloomberg L.P.
731 Lexington Ave.
New York, NY 10022

Dear Mr. Bloomberg:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of the State of Qatar, whose government you and your philanthropies are connected to and work with. Qatar is a state sponsor of terror, providing funds to Fatah and Hamas, and the host country of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The crisis with Israel is a direct result of Qatar’s/the Muslim Brotherhood’s relationship with the Obama administration, and, in general, Washington D.C. Just yesterday, it was reported that a senior Obama official called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “chickenshit.” In August, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry attempted to force Israel to accept Qatari-negotiated “peace” terms with Hamas. What loaded dice.
You and Bloomberg Philanthropies have donated millions to Qatar-connected education and financial endeavors. These include Common Core, Connect All Schools, banking interests in Qatar and other Islamic countries that actively finance global terror, think tanks and social referendums having to do with anti-smoking, as well as global warming initiatives that adhere to Qatar's own stated development goals.
The 3rd annual Bloomberg Doha Conference, to be held this year, will expressly go into the ties between the Bloomberg empire of press and financial companies and Qatar. The conference will cover topics such as: setting the agenda; the global perspective; regional landscape; transition of power; the new Qatari leadership; a conversation with Sir Michael Hintze; Islamic finance; real estate; Saudi energy markets and geopolitics; Iran, Syria and regional political stability; asset allocation; where are the opportunities in the region; traditional versus alternative, wealth preservation for the new generation; World Cup spending and development; regulation and the role this plays for managers looking at the region; investment destinations outside the Middle East and following the money.
All of this indicates a strong, intrinsic financial and strategic relationship between Bloomberg LP and Qatar. All this can be used as leverage against Qatar, which is right now threatening Israel vis-à-vis Washington D.C., Hamas, and Fatah.
In light of these connections that entwine the Bloomberg enterprises with the terrorist state of Qatar, we urge you to read the information below. Qatar is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell and profits from operating a virtual slave state.
So the public has a fuller context of Qatar's role in supporting and financing terrorist activities worldwide, and their connection to Bloomberg:
  • Bloomberg has partnered with Qatar on Common Core and the Connect All Schools Project. This project is bringing Arabic as a primary language into New York's schools. Teaching the Arabic language is based on the grammar in the Quran. Therefore, by default, Islamic education is being forced on grade school children in the United States. Over 100 schools across the country are now implementing this curriculum, which is financed and promoted by Qatar.
  • The Ground Zero Mosque - now Park51 - was promoted by you (as mayor) and Qatar as well as individuals with radical Islamist ties and terrorism links. Out of a sense of political correctness and the desire to not offend Muslims, this mosque was proposed 600 feet from where the Twin Towers stood on 9/11/2001. As mayor, you banned clergy and first responders from 9/11 ceremonies. The names of those lost that fateful day were also requested by you not to be read, so it would not upset the Islamic community.
  • During your tenure as Mayor of New York City, Sharia law has been implemented in various forms throughout the city: such as, allowing exceptions for prayer times regardless of job affiliation. The Call to Prayer rings out in Manhattan these days as well and the number of mosques in NYC has exploded over the last few years. Many of these mosques receive funds from Qatar.
  • Bloomberg and the Qatar Central Bank launched an Interbank Rate in 2012. Qatar Central Bank (QCB) and Bloomberg LP partnered to launch the first ever Qatar Interbank Offer Rate (QIBOR) fixings in a move aimed at encouraging a more active interbank market in Qatar. Interbank rate fixings are used around the world to provide a daily reference point for banks borrowing unsecured funds from other banks in the local wholesale banking market and this announcement brought Qatar into that market for the first time.
  • Bloomberg LP has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2011, Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal announced plans to partner with the Bloomberg news service to establish a new Arabic language news channel. Prince Talal’s donations to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), both part of the US Muslim Brotherhood, as well as his support of the Georgetown University Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding (CCMU), run by long-time Muslim Brotherhood supporter Dr. John Esposito, are well documented. In 2008, an Arab business publication reported that Prince Talal had also made numerous financial contributions to a pan-Islamic interfaith dialog organization that is closely tied to the global Muslim Brotherhood and which has an anti-Semitic statement posted on its website. In March of 2008, the Kingdom Foundation established by Prince Talal was one of the sponsors of a conference held by the World Congress of Muslim Philanthropists (WCMP), a new international Islamic philanthropic organization with strong Muslim Brotherhood representation. To be clear, to partner with Talal is to partner with the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • The banning of smoking indoors fits Islamic Sharia law, as the use of tobacco is haram (i.e., forbidden). For instance, the Nigerian Islamist group – Boko Haram, established by a Qatari proxy who now resides in Doha – recently executed two people for smoking. A Bloomberg anti-tobacco initiative partnered with the Turkish AKP, an Islamist party hostile to Israel and secular Turks, to seriously curtail smoking in that country, just as you did in New York City.
The QAC Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to exert due influence on the Qatar for the security of Israel in these extremely perilous times!

LETTER # 24:
Thomas J. Donohue
Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America
1615 H Street, NW
Washington, DC 20062-2000
Dear Mr. Donohue:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of Qatar. In 2010, the US Chamber of Commerce opened a branch in Doha, Qatar – AmCham Qatar. Qatar, while the wealthiest country per capita in the world, is at once the home base of the Muslim Brotherhood and also the world’s most prolific sponsor of terror, including: Hamas, Boko Haram, and the Islamic State.
AmCham Qatar is the “first legally established foreign Chamber of Commerce in Qatar.” This is not a surprising fact, for Qatar is a business partner and client of several of America’s largest and longest established companies, including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, ExxonMobil, and others.
Considering the following statement: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which is by far the largest lobbying spender in Washington ($136.3 million in 2012), has a growing, intimate, and working relationship with a sponsor of terrorism that profits from slavery, narcotics, and extortion. Does this not stink of corruption, or incredible incompetence? It certainly has the potential spawn numerous international inquiries as to what AmCham Qatar does for the Qatari Al-Thani monarchy, who once welcomed and employed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
As a businessman, you are familiar with the need for criminal organizations to wash, or launder, money. The activities of the Qatari-backed terrorist groups include extortion, slaving, and drug trafficking. Boko Haram, founded by a Qatari proxy now residing in Doha, routinely sells girls into sex slavery. Meanwhile, the Qataris use “slaves” build soccer stadiums in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. These immoral businesses are highly profitable.
Sex trafficking alone has estimated annual proceeds of $32 billion. Given the Qatari penchant for captive/abused labor, and their various links to narcotics cartels from Afghanistan to Argentina, this $32 billion represents only a fraction of the potential revenue from such activities.
Of course, businesses that are found to be laundering money for terrorists and cartels are subject to massive fines. HSBC was fined $1.9 billion for various laundering charges; BNP Paribas was recently fined $8.9 billion for assisting blacklisted countries avoid sanctions.
The public is urged to consider these additional facts concerning American business in Qatar:
  • In 2010, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice-President and COO David Chavern traveled to Doha and “officially commissioned the American Chamber of Commerce there (AmCham Qatar).”
  • Another business group, the US-Qatar Business Council, bills Qatar as “America’s Strongest Partner in the Gulf.” Its members include defense contractors Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing, Doha-based media company Al Jazeera, ExxonMobil, Occidental Petroleum (which was once a client of Al Gore Sr.), Colony Capital (which owns the production company Miramax with the Qatar Investment Authority), and the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton.
  • In October 2013, Qatar Holding announced it was building a $1 billion stake in Bank of America.
  • For business development overseas, the Chamber of Commerce is routinely assisted by the U.S. Department of State. Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, for example, was the keynote speaker at the Chamber’s annual meeting in July 2014. The State Department, under Hillary Clinton, led the Arab Spring with Qatari guidance, resulting in the Muslim Brotherhood assuming power in Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia.

LETTER #25:
President Barack H. Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20500
Dear President Obama:

This letter is being sent to you on behalf of the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition. The purpose is to inform you and the public of the activities of one of America’s closest allies under your administration, the State of Qatar. Not only is Qatar a state sponsor of terror which has funded Hamas, Boko Haram, and the Islamic State, but it is increasingly apparent that Qatar is a significant factor in the United States’ diplomatic rift with Israel, and finances the genocidal Islamic State.
Qatar was the primary sponsor of the Arab Spring, which saw its guests, the Muslim Brotherhood, assume power in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. Each of these countries subsequently descended into chaos, sectarian and religious violence, and Islamic autocracy. The Muslim Brotherhood, the same group from which sprouted Al Qaeda and ISIS, has created a veritable security, diplomatic, and humanitarian crisis in North Africa and the Middle East that threatens world peace.
Diplomatically, the United States’ relationship with Israel has never been more strained. Our relationship with Egypt, which was formerly the lynchpin in America’s diplomatic standing in the Arab world, has crumbled. King Abdullah of Jordan, whose country has been a steadfast and reliable ally in combating Islamic extremism for decades, has said publicly that he does not trust your government. Even Saudi Arabia, which has been an American ally since the 1930s, is exasperated and has publicly put distance between itself and the American government.
The net result of your administration’s policy of supporting the Qataris and the Muslim Brotherhood is simply this: an expansion Russia’s sphere of influence across the region. Yet the seismic geopolitical shift which is the likely fallout of the Arab Spring, namely, the realignment of several former American allies with Russia, is, incredibly, not the biggest story in this first class debacle.
There is an ongoing genocide across the Middle East against Christians, Kurds, Yazidis, and other religious and ethnic minorities. The tactics being employed each and every day by the Islamic State are reminiscent of the Nazi Holocaust. This is no accident; in fact, it is consistent with history. The original horrific event that gave the world the terrible word “genocide,” or murder of a people, came from the Armenian genocide, perpetuated by the Ottoman Empire. The primary victims of this genocide were Armenian Christians, but many others who were on the wrong side of the world’s last official Caliphate paid with their lives as well. Mass shootings, mass drownings, mass starvations, and other devilish acts marked this dark period in modern history.
A key participant in both the Armenian genocide, as well as the Holocaust, was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al Husseini. He was also the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine: the same group that Qatar hosts as honored guests in Doha today.
We are witnessing a repeat of history in the worst imaginable way. In these momentous times, what is lacking the most is truth. The terrible truth is that United States government under your leadership has been on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Arab Spring, and through the period of Islamist genocide in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and across several other countries. There is no other logical or reasonable way to interpret recent history.

In this so-called Arab Spring, Qatar and the United States have been partners in crime.
There are other atrocities to be attributed to Qatar, including their penchant for slave labor. It is estimated that nearly 4,000 migrant workers will die constructing the stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be played in Doha. Not only slave labor, but sex slavery deserves to be mentioned: for Boko Haram was created by a Qatari proxy, set up as a money making venture. The individual who provided the funds now resides in Doha. In order to #BringBackOurGirls, #StopQatarNow.
Moreover, Qatar it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell. The National Logistics Cell of Pakistan is currently a NATO subcontractor. With a stroke of your pen, this can change tomorrow.
Finally, Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition and petitioners ask that you consider the attached sourced report on Qatar's activities. The links cited are vetted and credible sources. We hope you take the time to verify the truth of the statements for yourself.
Mr. President, this letter of course tells you nothing you do not already know. You are privileged to the listen to the intelligence collected by multiple world class agencies, whose capabilities are second-to-none.
Still, the Qatar Awareness Campaign Coalition implores you to examine the Qatari record on human rights, genocide, slavery, and narcotics. It behooves a great nation to choose their primary allies carefully.
After doing so, the Coalition of the Qatar Awareness Campaign calls on you to cut all diplomatic, economic, and political ties with Qatar; remove all American military personnel from Doha; and freeze all Qatari connected assets around the globe until the reigning, duplicitous Al-Thanis step down and surrender to a court of justice!
Sincerely,
Lt. Col. Allen B. West (US Army, Ret) Frank J. Gaffney, Jr. Pamela Geller Walid Shoebat
